Concert of Inception at L.A : Di Caprio is that Hans Zimmer is a genius!

Zimmer performed live a few excerpts from his score from the film INCEPTION at the
premiere in Los Angeles, all the film crew was present and some participants took the opportunity to give their impressions of the composer's work....
Leonardo Di Caprio, who
notes that the music Zimmer has a considerable influence on the feelings
they may have in the film and the
immersive aspect. He calls it "genius" in
his own words. Ellen Page added: "The
music in this film is a character in itself." Hans Zimmer was joined by
Johnny Marr, guitarist of The Smiths, who participated in the
interpretation of music.
Hans Zimmer and Johnny
Marr have therefore performed on stage with an orchestra, pieces of the
score before the Incept screening. In 2008, Zimmer had
already interpreted the music of THE DARK KNIGHT on stage with James
Newton Howard, both on keyboards. Zimmer had initiated this
process in 2002 with a concert of music from SPIRIT (Dreamworks
cartoon). It has also commissioned a
"clip" around the music of the film SHERLOCK HOLMES early 2010
featuring studio musicians with Remote Control. All these initiatives
help to give a festive and friendly aspect of film music, to get her out
of the screen to make it alive through the musicians and performers,
more used to the confinement of the studios. This approach also helps
to establish the reputation as a leading composer Hans Zimmer Hollywood,
both "bankable" and inventive.
