Le Film Fest Gent rend hommage à cette occasion à l'impressionnante carrière de Philippe Sarde (de Sautet à Doillon, en passant par Polanski) avec un Lifetime Achievement Award suivi d'un hommage à sa musique.

Le concert des World Soundtrack Awards accueille Carter Burwell (connues pour sa collaboration avec les frères Coen & Todd Haynes entre autres), dont les musiques n'ont jamais été auparavant jouées en direct, et Nicholas Britell, compositeur, pianiste et producteur nommé aux Oscars ('Moonlight ').
