The Touch a marqué le retour inattendu du grand Basil Poledouris dans le registre de l'aventure épique. Hélas, si certains ont très vite criés au génie dès la sortie en import asiatique du score du film, force est de constater que The Touch n'a pourtant rien pour égaler Conan The Barbarian ou Farewell To The King.
