Le compositeur tunisien Amine Bouhafa (Timbuktu) fait la rencontre de sa compatriote Kaouther Ben Hania, avec une partition oppressante qui illustre la lutte de la jeune Mariam (la belle) pour la reconnaissance de l'agression sexuelle causée par des policiers (relatée par neuf plan-séquences), tout en insufflant un espoir (par l'emploi du Cristal Baschet), et fait exister au sein de son architecture sonore singulière une voix soliste, la viole de gambe.
