Après Mica Levi (Jackie, 2017) et Nicolas Jaar "Ema" (2020) c'est au tour de Jonny Greenwood de participer à un film de l'argentin Pablo Larraín avec un thème central qui se décline du piano ("Spencer ") au violoncelle ("The Boys"), et à l'orgue ("Press Call") lors d'une scène à l'église, pour accompagner la fuite de Diana (Kristen Stewart). Des dissonances ("The Pearls") soutiennent un trouble chez la princesse, et des pièces de free-jazz ("Calling The Whipper In") avec trompette, percussions, et clavecin, entretiennent un climat d'urgence. On y entend à la fin (en voiture) la chanson préexistante "All i need is a miracle" de Mike + The Mechanics.
