Le musicien allemand Alexander Hacke (membre des Einstürzenden Neubauten) retrouve son compatriote Fatih Akin sur ce drame historique après le documentaire "Garbage in the Garden of Eden" (2012) et la romance "Head-On" (2004). On y entend une version arménienne de la chanson "Everything To Get You Back" par Hindi Zahra.
