Abel Korzeniowski signe la musique de ce film fantastique, premier long métrage d'Ishana Shyamalan, sur Mina (Dakota Fanning), perdue dans une forêt et trouvant refuge dans un lieu aux habitants mystérieux. Les ostinati de cordes incarnent le mystère et le danger, avec des sonorités évoquant l'effroi (dissonances, bourdonnements, cliquetis...). Un violon plaintif, rejoint par un piano, marque le désarroi de Mina jusqu'à une envolée lyrique finale.
