Tom Howe ("Shaun le mouton") signe la musique du film d'animation de Toby Genkel & Florian Westermann avec une partition jouant la malice, le jeu, l'aventure, le mystère à l'image des péripéties du chat Maurice, invitant au sein de l'orchestre une flûte et une voix de fillette. Par ailleurs la jeune chanteuse britannique Gabrielle Aplin propose deux chansons pop originales, "Be Yourself " et "Side by Side".
