Le trio anglais Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross et Claudia Sarne se retrouvent au cinéma après les films de Allen Hughes "Broken City" (2013) et "The Book of Eli" (2010) pour cette première collaboration avec l'australien John Hillcoat qui a auparavant travaillé avec Nick Cave et Warren Ellis sur "The Proposition" (2005), "The Road" (2009) et "Lawless" (2012).
